At McGowan Lake Campground we are continually working to maintain and upgrade our facilities to make your stay with us pleasurable and bring you back for future visits. Our cheerful and helpful staff's number one goal is to make your stay enjoyable.

McGowan Lake Campground has 226 sites including 18 unserviced sites for tent camping, 16 serviced sites (water and 15 or 30 amp hydro) for trailers or tents, and 192 seasonal sites (up to 30 amp hydro). There are a wide variety of treed, partially treed or open sites depending on your preference.

Our facilities include:

*Immaculate washrooms with flush toilets and hot showers

*Our well stocked convenience store offers grocery products as well as gifts and souvenirs

*Our games room offers video games and a pool table

*We offer two playgrounds for the young and the young at heart

*Laundromat

*Dump station and mobile pump-out service

*Controlled security entrance gate, nightly security, and managers available 24 hours each day

*We sell firewood and every site has a fire ring for your campfire. Also, every overnight site is supplied with a picnic table

*For your sporting enjoyment we have horseshoe pits, baseball, and volleyball

*For the fisherman our springfed lake offers pike and bass fishing

*Boat launch. The limit on the lake for motors is 10 hp. This makes for clean swimming for all ages.

*Sandy beach with upgraded raft

*Pets are welcome but are required to be leashed at all times
